I’ve been in therapy for years, and the whole time I’ve been telling everyone I know to go too because I truly believe it can make a huge difference in your life.
But that doesn’t mean I’ve always had great experiences in therapy. Over the years, I’ve had plenty of therapists who just didn’t “click” with me, and two years ago I had to break up with a therapist who took advantage of my vulnerability and responded with cruelty.
I’ve had some seriously terrible therapists, but I’ve also had some good therapists, like my current one.
