It’s been said that music tames the savage beast. It also can calm the worried one, whether about the coronavirus or otherwise.
To that end, here I offer a mini-concert of calming music that I play on the piano. Over the Rainbow A Day in the Life of a Fool Autumn Leaves My Funny Valentine And one I wrote: I Love You.
Of course, there’s a wealth of other music you might find calming. And sometimes, what helps is to listen long-form: For example, recently, I set Spiegel im Spiegel (Mirror in Mirror) to auto-replay, and the 10-minute piece repeated five times until I awoke calm.
