A growing body of research indicates that several classical psychedelics and “psychedelic-like” compounds (e.g. psilocybin, ketamine, MDMA, and LSD) have shown promise for the treatment of substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, and treatment-resistant depression (TRD).
