I just made a resolution. I am going to spend as much time developing my strengths as I spend getting support for my symptoms.
How did I arrive at that decision? Well, last week, I participated in some wonderful support groups. I shared my fears, and I got compassion and empathy.
Yet strangely I felt worse afterward. Now I was scratching my head and wondering why, because I had gotten very good help. The problem, I realized, was with my personal history and what I chose to share.
