How to Meditate Even If You Struggle to Sit Still

Live Be Yoga Ambassador Monica Cadena at her home "meditation station."  When I turned 30, I was diagnosed with ADHD, or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD is defined as a chronic condition including attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness.

For me, my late diagnosis was more of a confirmation of something I always had assumed. I’ve always struggled with sitting still and find myself getting easily distracted between tasks.

Going to the movie theater, for example, is torturous for me—sitting in one place for 90 minutes while following a story without drifting off into my makeshift fantasy world is close to impossible.
