For me, my late diagnosis was more of a confirmation of something I always had assumed. I’ve always struggled with sitting still and find myself getting easily distracted between tasks.
Going to the movie theater, for example, is torturous for me—sitting in one place for 90 minutes while following a story without drifting off into my makeshift fantasy world is close to impossible.
