“I know what I forgot.”Those words from my wife Sami set off a chain of events that ended with a new friend, a returned pair of boots, and a life-changing philosophy.
It was 2017. We were in southern Iceland, on our second trip to the country in as many years, driving from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur toward the capital of Reykjavík.
