Why are some people failing to comply with social distancing recommendations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic? A team of researchers at Stanford University in California found that work requirements from non-essential businesses, the desire to exercise, and a belief that other precautions were enough were reasons cited by people who were not following the recommendations.
