I often get asked what it feels like to have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or what a typical day looks like for someone who has ADHD.

It’s a tough question to answer because the thing is that no two days are the same with ADHD. The only consistent thing about ADHD is its inconsistency.

And it’s not just that some days are “good” and some days are “bad,” but rather that there are different characteristics of harder or easier days that make them different.
