So, a friend and I were talking about the phrase “we’re all in the same boat,” and how these days, with all the challenges we’re facing, it’s not really a valid statement.
Yes, we’re all in the same storm, but we are definitely not in the same boat! While some people are lounging around, drinking Mai Tai’s around the swimming pool in their backyard, others are scrambling to pay bills and put food on the table.
And then there are others who either they or a family member are actually fighting the virus themselves. Then there are those who are on the front lines, putting themselves in harms way, facing the threat head on.
