The Thunder Rolls Like the sky outside, my mind was getting dark. Thoughts crashing together like the clouds to make a thunderous throbbing inside my head.
I sat there quietly, but maybe I wasn’t being as quiet as I thought. The piercing eyes I felt on the side of my head burned into my skin like lightning bolts to the temple.
He was making it so much louder—my mind was racing, but I couldn’t voice it. I couldn’t let him know his silence was screaming and digging it’s way deeper and deeper into my thoughts.
