The diagnosis of ASD is based on observations of behavior which may be impacted by anxiety and stress responses that are the result of differences in the brain and the neurosensory system.
The current COVID-19 pandemic elicits fear and apprehension in all of us and presents an opportunity to gain insight into how anxiety affects human behavior.
