Transdisabled entertainer Sandie Crisp, known as the Goddess Bunny, has died at the age of 61, according to Them, on January 27. Crisp’s cause of death has not been confirmed, but a GoFundMe for Crisp’s memorial service suggests that complications from HIV may have contributed to her death. Crisp gained a cult following through modeling for Rick Owens, starring in Dr. Dre and Marilyn Manson’s music videos, and appearing in the film Hollywood Vice Squad with Carrie Fisher. Owens told Vice that Crisp ” saw herself as mainstream and she saw herself as being a goddess and a star, and that’s how she lived her life and approached the world.”
