The holiday season can be a lonely time for many people. This year, however, there's an extra hurdle. With states debating shutting down, Americans are grappling with the challenge of creating memories and fostering togetherness without spreading COVID-19, which will prevent them from celebrating with their elderly loved ones. Beyond that, over 240,000 people have died, with some losing multiple family members-both young and old.
