He is a professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr.

Biederman is Board Certified in General and Child Psychiatry.He has been the recipient of the American Psychiatric Association Blanche F. Ittleson Award for Excellence in Child Psychiatric Research, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Charlotte Norbert Rieger Award for Scientific Achievement.
