Home › Welcome to the ADDitude Forums › School & Learning › 504 Plans, IEPs & Accommodations › My child’s IEP goal was not met this past yearBut the school is saying he doesn’t need an IEP because of his good grades.

He is twice exceptional and works crazy long hours to get his work done. They are saying he’s okay with 504 accommodations but I am adamant he needs support with executive function deficits.

He’s also starting middle school in person this fall. What legal rights do I have on this matter? (Being that they didn’t assess his previous IEP goal?) Is this happening to anyone else?
