John’s Story – OCD

Reading now: 489

John’s O.C.D. started in his late teens and he has no idea why.He became obsessed with the thought that something awful would happen if he went into his home without retracing, exactly, the steps he had taken when going out.

This called for immense concentration and was very time consuming as it was very difficult to remember exactly where he had put his feet on the way out.We are glad to say that, using cognitive behaviour therapy, John is well on the road to recovery. No Panic specialises in self-help recovery and our services aim to providing people with the skills they need to manage their condition and work towards recovery.Become a member
