Is there as much of a stigma against non-stimulant medicine?

I know “stimulant medication” is a class 2 hyperspace felony FDA code word that Doctors don’t want to touch, but how about non-stimulant medication?

Does that raise the same red flags when you talk to doctors about it?I take the non stimulant drug Atomoxetine. I think it was originally an antidepressant but didn’t work too well.
