Alice is a student completing her Masters in Philosophy. She lives with multiple mental illnesses. Here she tells us her experiences as a student during lockdown and what is helping her through these difficult times. I have experienced mental illness for as long as I can remember. From depression to anxiety, to eating disorders to Borderline personality disorder, I have had experience of lots of complex illnesses.
It causes feelings of worthlessness, guilt, a lack of self-worth and also a feeling of utter misery and emptiness inside that is hard to explain to those who have not had a mental illness.
