I love learning and relearning new LifeTOOLS! In one particular segment, they were talking about a trip they had taken to Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary in San Francisco, and how the park rangers said that no one had ever escaped.

And this had gotten them thinking about a prison that has “no bars” and yet keeps millions of people trapped every day: the “Prison of Habit. ”I can think of nothing more powerful and within our control that shapes our lives than habits.

Their power comes from the fact that they are invisible, present all the time, and—most importantly—lead people to believe there is nothing they can do about them.
