Fighting the Fog of Depression as a Mother

I got angry this week. For a depressive, this is a good sign. I’m waking up. The fog is lifting. It lifts much quicker than it descends.

The descent is a slow, mind-numbing process that is easily mistaken for PMS, tiredness or stress. Having a history with depression on and off throughout much of my life, both before children and after, the signs were fairly obvious.

Unfortunately, I can’t do much about it at the moment as I’m pregnant with my third child, and I’ve chosen to not take any meds.
