Yoga is not my cup of tea. With my Type 1 personality, I get frustrated over whether I’m doing the poses correctly and have a hard time getting behind the slow pace.
But when I do give it a try, I can’t help but let out an audible “ahhh” as I release pent-up emotions with each hip-opening pose.
There’s no denying the strong mind-body connection we all possess, and the hips are the window to our emotions.Whether or not you realize it, you can hold onto experiences, stress, memories, and trauma in different parts of your body if they’re not processed.
