What happened: It’s been nearly 10 years since Emilia Clarke survived a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening type of stroke caused by bleeding into the space around the brain.

Now the “Game of Thrones” actress is saying thanks to the health care workers who saved her life.
