As an autistic child, I loved going to the movies and being immersed in another world. But as I’ve grown into adulthood, I’ve found I have a love/hate relationship with going to the movie theater. So, I try to see these movies as soon as they come out. But as society has changed, so has going to the theater. During the pandemic, I loved that you could watch newly released movies at home. Since the restrictions have been lifted, so have some of the accommodations.

I firmly believe that knowledge is a powerful tool for anyone to possess. Although I’ve lived with migraine for nearly 20 years, I’ve realized that my knowledge of migraine is limited at best. So, I did what anyone who wants to learn more about a condition would do: I scoured the shelves of my favorite bookstore to see what books about migraine I could find.

And it’s not just that some days are “good” and some days are “bad,” but rather that there are different characteristics of harder or easier days that make them different.
