When I do too much, I wear myself down. And then I am in bed for a few days. So counterproductive. So frustrating. While feeling burdened in this way, I found myself surprisingly inspired and invigorated by the words of religious leaders I heard last weekend:These leaders were addressing how becoming seasoned, experienced, stable, and elderly can help the senior leadership benefit the organization.
But I feel these statements can also apply to my situation. Because I do not have the energy and stamina to be as active as I once was, I must more carefully choose what I do.
I feel that with life’s experiences, my vision has expanded, and I have a greater capacity to be of service to others—to make a difference in their lives.
