One day on the way to school I was attacked by a dog. It was a very frightening experience.I began to fear going to school especially on my own.

I would begin to feel very anxious and could sometimes panic. I used to cross over the road if I saw a dog even if it was on a lead.

Imagine my horror when the boy who lived next door had a puppy. Just its bark would make me freeze with fear.I began to make excuses not to go out with friends.
