When I was a child, I always assumed my parents had it easy. They could do whatever they wanted, and being a parent must not be that hard, I thought.

Looking back, I realize how much I was wrong.Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs in the world, if not the hardest. And even on my parent’s worst days, I never realized how much they were going through just by being the parents of a small child.

The older I get and the more I experience what they must have been going through, the more I see how much they hid behind their smiles.Now, I see that there were so many things that they didn’t tell me, that I can see so clearly now.
