It’s widely understood that chronic illness can feel like an isolating experience, so it’s only natural to find comfort in those who openly talk about it.
There are of course many ways to do this (including on The Mighty!), but TikTok has become a hot commodity. When quarantine began last spring, TikTok seemed to blossom into an interactive space for all creators, and subsequently consumers, of these short videos.
This social media outlet — the reincarnation of Vine, if you will — has enabled us to stay connected, entertained and informed throughout these uncertain times.
