I’ve had depression since I was a little girl. It’s been a part of my life for so long that sometimes it feels like old news.
I get sick of taking myself so seriously. After a while, I just need to laugh a little. Apparently, I’m not alone. One study found that people who like to make others laugh and took a humorous outlook on life tended to be happier, healthier people.
Makes sense, right? I feel healthy when I’m laughing. Depression is serious, but that doesn’t mean I have to be serious all the time.
